Romania’s largest online retailer eMAG has completed the acquisition of the fashion retailer Fashion Days, after it received the final approval from the competition authorities in Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria.

The deal responds to both retailers ‘desire to grow beyond its original formats.

Thus, Fashion Days has moved from a website which offered flash sales, in which the stocks were limited, to a platform which offers in-season collections, explained in an interview Razvan Predica, Fashion Days CEO.

In virtue of the agreement, the retailer will now manage eMAG’s fashion department. It will expand its storage capacity, open delivery points and fitting rooms in the future.

Additionally, the company will be in charge of its own fashion platform as well as that of eMAG, reports local Profit.ro.

The fashion retailer wants to increase its storage capacity at least by 20-30 percent in the beginning.
