Gucci is presenting a limited-edition book called "Epiphany" created by photographer Ari Marcopolous at New York's Dover Street Market on May 5.

"Epiphany" includes photos shot my Marcopolous during a shoot in Milan that documented Gucci's pre-fall women's and men's collections. Marcoplous will be available to sign copies at the store's permanent Gucci space. The signing is part of Dover Street Market's open house.

“For seven days we photographed Alessandro’s collection,” said Marcopoulos. “As the days went on our surroundings made me feel equally in Roman times of the past and solidly in the present and future. Above all we were having a good time which would have pleased Dionysus [a reference to Gucci’s bag with the same name].”

The book, produced in association with both Gucci and Idea books, will be released in a limited number of 1000 copies. As part of an agreement with Dover Street Market, the book will be sold exclusively at the Dover Sreet Market's New York location for a month. After that, it will be on sale at Pitti Uomo, and also in Florence and London.

"Epiphany" comes with cover pockets, with thirteen different images by Macropolous selected randomly for each book's cover pocket. A quote by Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele stands on the cover. Each copy has a fold-out poster with color images on both sides.

The price point for the book is 65 dollars. Beginning in July, the book will also be available at ideanow.online.
