Eugenia Kim to release line of wedding headpieces

Hat designer Eugenia Kim is releasing a collection of headpieces created expressly for wedding day celebrations.

The line comprises 16 items that can be worn by both brides and member’s of wedding parties at any stage in the ceremony. Among them is a vintage feather look and beach-worthy hat perfect for honeymoon traveling. The spring/summer release also features floral headwear.

Kim’s was inspired by her own search for wedding day items to create the capsule.

“I’m getting married soon, (and) I was doing my own research on bridal wear and wasn’t finding pieces that suited my personality,” she said in a statement. “Around the same time, I was asked by a close friend to design custom pieces for both her and her entire wedding party, so I knew there were other brides-to-be out there who weren’t finding what they needed from traditional bridal accessories designers. So I decided to just fill that place in the market myself!"

Prices range from 145 and 1,995 dollars and will be available to order through Kim’s official website later this year.

Over the course of her two-decade career, Kim has become a favorite of high profile women including Kate Middleton, Beyonce and Madonna. The trendsetter’s work, which has also appeared in films, was celebrated earlier this year during New York Fashion Week, with a stunning retrospective.
