NAMES JULIA HAART CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER AND BOARD MEMBER
New York, February 19th, 2019: Elite World, the world’s largest international network of model management agencies including Elite worldwide, Women Model Management, The Society, Supreme, and 360 Model Management is pleased to announce the creation of e.1972, a new global fashion brand.
Elite World’s Chief Creative Officer, Julia Haart, will lead the “model-off-duty” lifestyle brand with a collection of urban streetwear pieces. Haart’s commitment to art, design, technology and social responsibility will play a central role in the brand’s overall direction, aesthetic, and attitude.
The collection, designed by Haart, will meld the worlds of comfort and fashion and feature looks inspired by the group’s roster of the world’s most influential brand ambassadors, creative leaders, and digital savants. The brand’s central message to consumers: “Be your own ICON.”

With a nod to Elite’s past, the brand name was created by combining the iconic Elite “e” with the company’s founding year of 1972. This tribute to the group’s rich heritage will be echoed across all brand touchpoints and communication channels.
The brand is slated to launch in May 2019 with a limited edition collection of model-must-haves. The collection, which will be uniquely featured in the upcoming 2019 fashion weeks, will be available for purchase exclusively at www.e1972.com.
ABOUT JULIA HAART
In her new role as Elite World Chief Creative Officer and Board Member, Julia Haart will oversee the creative direction and development of Elite World’s new fashion extension, e.1972 and lead all group-wide creative endeavors. Prior to joining Elite World, Haart founded her namesake brand in 2013, before taking on the prestigious role of Creative Director of world-leading Italian brand La Perla, in 2016.
Haart will function as a creative and strategic leader, overseeing the modernization of Elite Model Look by expanding the competition to incorporate a global search for digital influencers and updating the parameters of an Elite Model. Haart will bring new exposure to the global contest across +50 countries through an enhanced EML creative strategy, and by standardizing the bootcamp and final formats to encompass every aspect of a young model’s development – from emotional wellness and nutrition to acting classes and social media training. Additionally, in this new role, Haart will lead and orchestrate all phases of brand and event creative development to bring industry changing creative solutions that differentiate Elite World from its competitors. In addition to her role as Chief Creative Officer, Julia Haart will join as Board Member of Elite World, and function as an integral part of the company executive leadership with the goal to shape and grow the business.
