Anact Hosts Local Event to Activate the Community

Anact is an activist brand that just happens to make sustainable towels out of hemp and organic cotton. They use their sales to give back to the local community by hosting Act Up events. Act Up events are locally held events at Anact’s HQ in Jacksonville, FL. These events feature activists and changemakers addressing social and environmental issues.

Anact’s most recent event was held on Wednesday, January 26th, and was their fifth event. This event focused on the importance of local elections. The intention of the event was to create a safe space to learn about the current election happening in the city of Jacksonville, the candidates running in the election, and what issues are impacting the community that are the most pressing.
