The main exhibition for launching materials for the footwear industries is approaching. The 33rd edition of INSPIRAMAIS will take place between January 27 and 28, at the FIERGS Events Center, in Porto Alegre/RS. With 150 exhibiting companies and a program that combines business and relevant information on fashion, design, sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence and its impacts on the sector, the event expects over 7,000 visitors during the two days of its realization. The superintendent of the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal), Silvana Dilly, highlights the importance of the exhibition for the fashion productive chain. "INSPIRAMAIS is where fashion begins. At the event, we will have materials and services to boost the production of footwear, clothing, furniture, jewelry, and the automotive industry, always with the curation of a showroom that has been presenting the guidelines and paths for the national and international industry for over a decade," she comments. According to her, in the most recent edition of the event, more than R$ 44 million in international business sales were generated for the sector alone.
Buyer Project
One of the highlights of INSPIRAMAIS is the Buyer Project (Projeto Comprador), supported by APEX BRASIL, which this edition brings 38 international buyers to Brazil from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Turkey. Together, the material importers brought to the event produce more than 1.5 million pairs monthly, besides the distributors of components for local markets.
Iconography
Another highlight of the exhibition is the display of materials produced through the "Local Iconography Amazon Biome" project, carried out by Assintecal and the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae). The initiative, held in the territories of Santarém, Alter do Chão district, Belterra, and Mojuí dos Campos, developed in-depth territorial research focusing on local identity and over 80 new materials for the industry.
Cufa
For the second consecutive year, the event will feature an exhibition of entrepreneurs from the Central Única das Favelas (Cufa), an organization recognized nationally and internationally for its work in the political, social, sports, and cultural spheres and which seeks to bring dignity to the various communities in the country. The products and services will be available to visitors.
