INSPIRAMAIS announces schedule

The 27th edition of INSPIRAMAIS, the only design, fashion, and sustainability in materials exhibit for the footwear, clothing, furniture, and jewelry industries in Brazil, besides promoting business for the sector's productive chain, will have an intense program of lectures. During January 24 and 25, 2023, at the event, which takes place at the FIERGS, in Porto Alegre/RS, 14 presentations will be held on sustainability, fashion, national and international business, entrepreneurship and innovation.
As usual, the opening of the exhibit will be the responsibility of Walter Rodrigues, coordinator of the Design and Research Center of the Assintecal. Starting at 10:30am on the 24th, the stylist will talk about the inspirations for the next collections. "As the materials industry works even earlier than the final producer of footwear, here at INSPIRAMAIS, we will already be launching collections of product inputs that will be in stores in the second part of the year. In the lecture, I will talk about the trend research that resulted in more than a thousand products launched in the exhibit,“ the stylist explains. According to Rodrigues, the presentation acts as an introduction and a guide for visitors, as it will point out the materials that will be on the rise in the coming seasons.
The second lecture is scheduled for the early afternoon of the 24th, at 1:30pm, when Helen Formaggini Morais, technology analyst at the Senai/MG and Viviane Assunção, project analyst at the IEL, both linked to the FIEMG, take the stage. During this opportunity, the specialists will talk about circular economy focused on the fashion sector, bringing cases and ideas that can help the industry in the creation of more sustainable products.
Another highlight is the 3:45pm lecture, in which the consultant/researcher and the Market analyst at the Centro de Tecnologia da Indústria Química e Têxtil do Senai (Ceqtic/Senai), Thales Calmon de Aguiar Neto and Rafael Bastos Rocha, will talk about the opportunities for innovation in the industry.
The first day of INSPIRAMAIS will also have presentations of the solutions of Stahl (2:15pm) and Grupo Soma (3:00pm), as well as cases of Sebrae startups (4:30pm) and the panorama of the safety materials and footwear market, of the Animaseg (5:15pm).
Day two
On the 25th, the highlight is the footwear sector panel in Argentina, Mexico and Spain, countries that are, respectively, in positions 1, 6 and 12 in the ranking of international destinations for footwear components. From 10:30am, Daniel Risafi - vice-president of the Câmara de Calçados da Argentina (CIC) -, Imanol Martinéz Gómez - marketing and business development director of the Federação das Indústrias de Calçados da Espanha (FICE)- and Alfredo Villalpando, chairman of the board of directors of the Câmara das Indústrias de Calçados do Estado de Guanajuato (CICEG) take the stage to bring an overview of their respective markets.
At 1:15pm, Walter Rodrigues returns to the stage to bring a preview of the research that will present his products at INSPIRAMAIS in the second half of 2023. Then, from 2:15pm, Flávia Vanelli, curator of the Creative Connection Hub, will talk about creative solutions in sustainability and innovation presented by the impact business ecosystem.
At 3:00, there is another highly anticipated moment at the exhibit. Rodrigues, Marnei Carminatti - Leather Preview Project coordinator and INSPIRAMAIS consultant - and Ramon Oliveira Soares - INSPIRAMAIS consultant - will be on stage to talk about the leather preview for 2024.
The second day will also have presentations by Malwee on the clothing market (11:15) and Sebrae on entrepreneurship and solutions for micro and small companies (16:15).
