Textiles Recycling Expo USA opens call for speakers for 2027 conference

Textiles Recycling Expo USA, North America's dedicated exhibition and conference focused on textile recycling and circularity, has opened its call for speakers for the 2027 edition. The event follows the inaugural 2026 conference and will take place April 7 and 8, 2027, at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.

Organizers are inviting industry experts, innovators, researchers and thought leaders to submit proposals for the second edition of the conference. Structural partner Accelerating Circularity is working with the organizers to help identify key industry challenges and ensure the program reflects the priorities and conversations shaping the sector.

Alongside the continuing impact of evolving legislation, infrastructure and technology on the textile recycling industry, the 2027 program is expanding to address the role of reuse and repair, as well as the responsibilities the US textiles industry holds toward countries in the global south.

The organizers are seeking speakers with expertise across seven themes: extended producer responsibility (EPR) and the new compliance landscape; sorting technology; fiber to fiber recycling and recycled fiber end markets; collection infrastructure and reverse logistics; reuse, resale and repair as the first circular loop; traceability, brand accountability and circular business models; and global trade flows covering burdens, opportunities and accountability in the global south. The final two themes are new additions for the 2027 program.
