Adidas to show at Pitti

Sportswear giant Adidas is taking its contemporary sportswear brand Adidas SLVR, which is

known for fusing innovation and tradition, to Pitti Immagine Uomo in January to showcase its autumn/winter 2013 collection.

The label, under the creative direction of Dirk Schönberger, will be presenting its collection for both men and women, including all categories from apparel to accessories and footwear in a standalone booth at the Ynformal area, Costruzioni Lorensi on the ground floor.

Designed to push the sportswear brand further, Schönberger, said: “SLVR relies on the technical excellence of adidas while pushing the limits of sportswear. This fusion of performance and tailoring creates a look that I believe is highly relevant to culture today.”

Known for its fashion-forward approach to sportswear, adidas SLVR resides within the adidas Style Division, which also includes NEO, Porsche Design Sport and Y-3, the sport-inspired luxury label in collaboration with and under the creative direction of Yohji Yamamoto.
