Armani Exchange names new creative director

Patrick Robinson, former creative director of Gap, has beennamed the new creative director of Armani’s diffusion label, A/X Armani Exchange. The designer will overseas everything from product development to the marketing creative strategy, ensuring brand consistency.
Earlier this month, Robinson announced that he is to launch his own label, a new sportswear brand named Paskho; however the project is without any major backer.
His new role is his first since being dismissed from Gap in 2011, for poor sales, after four years at the company.
At A/X Armani Exchange the designer will report directly to CEO Harlan Bratcher.
