The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund is celebrating its 10th

anniversary with a six-part documentary ‘The Fashion Fund’, which will air on American TV in December.

US arts network Ovation has announced that it will chronicle the journeys of the 10 emerging fashion designers that are vying for the chance to be named the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner and win a 300,000 US dollar cash prize to transform their business.

"This is the real deal. There have been a lot of fashion competition series on television, but nothing comes close to matching the authenticity and talent found in 'The Fashion Fund'," said Robert Weiss, Ovation's Chief Creative Officer. "It's truly an honour to be working with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund."

The six-part documentary, made in association with Conde Nast and the CFDA, will take viewers behind-the-scenes during the judging process including the designer’s studio visits, their Vogue photo shoot, and the final presentation showcase. The TV show will also document the winner’s announcement, which will take place in November.

This year's finalists include Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School, Juan Carlos Obando, Todd Snyder and Misha Nonoo of Nonoo. The judging panel features British design duo Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone, as well as Anna Wintour, J. Crew’s Jenna Lyons and Reed Krakoff.
