Deckers named new managing director of EMEA

Footwear specialists Deckers Outdoor Corporation, parent company of brands

including Ugg and Teva, has named Gianni Georgiades as its managing director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Georgiades, previously managing director of UK and distributor markets, has been promoted following the departure of Steve Murray as president of the EMEA region last month.

Prior to joining Deckers in 2010 as a brand director, Georgiades was also international sales manager for the UK and Northern Europe for DSquared2, Maison Martin Margiela, and Ungaro and was global commercial director at J. Lindeberg.
