Desigual rewards undressed shoppers

Young bargain hunters braved cold weather and indiscreet

looks to queue at branches of Desigual, a contemporary fashion retailer, which launched a "cheeky" offer to unveil its winter sales.

Under the slogan "Come in undressed and go out dressed", the company, whose main business is in Spain and Portugal, promised a matching top and lower garment to the first 100 people who appear at selected branches dressed in their underwear.

Those who braved the cold weather enjoyed an hour of free shopping for a top and bottom, no purchase required. Those who missed the sale can still head to Barcelona and Madrid where they will host the shopping event on 7 and 9 January.
