Dior partners with Princess Grace Foundation

French fashion house Dior is strengthening its ties with Monaco after announcing a new partnership with the Princess Grace Foundation-USA,

which was established following Grace Kelly’s death in 1982.

Dior will be the sole principle sponsor for the foundation’s next three Prince Grace Awards Galas, which recognise talent within the performing arts, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles in October, Monaco in 2015 and New York in 2016.

"It is our pleasure to welcome Dior Haute Couture into our artistic family," said Toby Boshak, executive director of the Princess Grace Foundation-USA. "We are delighted to be working with the House of Dior whose long-standing relationship with the Princely Family of Monaco is celebrated by this new collaboration. Dior's dedication to artistic excellence parallels our own mission of supporting emerging talent, and we look forward to a spirited and inspiring partnership."

Dior’s chief executive, Sidney Toledano added: “Our partnership with the Princess Grace Foundation-USA is deeply rooted in history and mutual admiration between the Princely family of Monaco and the House of Dior. We both share the same pursuit of artistic excellence and are honoured to be a part of recognising the artistry of Princess Grace Award winners in theatre, dance, and film.”

For the upcoming gala in Los Angeles, Dior’s CEO Toledano will be a co-chair of the alongside his wife, Katia, as will Dick and Noelle Wolf, Bob Iger and Willow Bay.
