Dita Von Teese launches maternity lingerie line

Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese has launched a capsule collection of retro-inspired

bras and panties designed with new mums in mind, with maternity retailer Destination Maternity.

Entitled Von Follies, the seven-piece capsule line includes sexy bra designs that feature soft stretch satin and lace with ribbon embellishment detailing that are nursing-enabled with clip-down tabs and detachable cups, which can be paired with pin-up-inspired high-waist knickers with built-in control panels.

Commenting on the new line, Von Teese said: “I believe that lingerie can and should be glamorous and functional. Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty, and why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?

“The collection I created with Destination Maternity is designed to capture the spirit of retro glamour, while inspiring confidence and meeting the practical requirements and everyday needs of a new mother.”

The collection is available at select Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity and A Pea in the Pod, with prices ranging from 39 to 55 dollars.
