Eric Sandrin named legal director of Kering

Luxury conglomerate Kering has announced the appointment of Eric Sandrin as the group's new legal director, effective from 10 June,

2014. Sandrin is set to report to Jean-Francois Palus, the managing director of Kering.

He will “bring an international outlook to the legal operations of the group and its brand and specialist expertise, acquired in the course of his professional career in business and consultancy,” commented Kering in a press release.

Sandrin joins the group from the SCOR Group, where he has served as general legal counsel since March 2011. Before working with SCOR, he worked as legal director and general secretary of Atos Orgin.

He will be succeeding Michel Friocourt, who has been appointed as advisor to the group chairman and CEO on governance organization, strategy and development topics as well as special initiatives for the group and its brands.Kering, ccpage
