To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Scandinavia fashion chain Lindex is teaming up with French designer Jean Paul Gaultier on an exclusive

capsule collection for autumn 2014.

The Jean Paul Gaultier for Lindex collection will consist of womenswear, kidswear, accessories and lingerie, and will be available from October 8 at select Lindex locations and via the retailer’s website. As well as being affordable, the one-off collection will also benefit the fight against breast cancer by donating 10 percent of the sales price to breast cancer research charities.

Commenting on the collaboration, Gaultier said: “It’s a wonderful and fun experience to create a collection that interprets my codes for Lindex while taking part in the fight against breast cancer. I believe we’ve found a great mix of these elements and the collection is bold, chic and strong like the Lindex woman.”

Nina Starck, head of design at Lindex, added: “It’s a great honour for us to work together with such a design icon in association with our 60th anniversary celebration. The Jean Paul Gaultier brand has a strong sense of energy and self-confidence that accords well with the Lindex brand and where we are heading.”
