Swedish fast-fashion retailer H&M has launched its local Spanish online store, which offers shipping across the country,

excluding the Canary Islands.

“Our online store is the perfect complement to our 150 stores in Spain and the opportunity to offer our customers the best shopping experience 24 hours a day,” commented Doris Klein, CEO of H&M for Spain and Portugal.

In addition to offering all the retailer’s lines for women, men and children, the online shop also offers H&M's homeware collection, which was previously only available in store in Tarragona. Spain is the eleventh market where H&M has launched an online store.

“We are excited about the arrival of H&M online to Spain this fall, something which our customers were eagerly awaiting. In addition to offering our fantastic collections for the entire family, thanks to H&M Home, our customers now have access to the latest items in decor,” added Klein.

H&M added that the online store is unable to ship to the Canary Islands at the moment, due to logistical issues, but noted that they are working to ensure customers on the islands will be able to purchase from the online store “as soon as possible.”

Following the launch of its Spanish online store, the Swedish fast-fashion retailer is set to launch online stores in China and Italy.

H&M has been slower to launch its online stores in comparison with its rivals, and has been investing in its e-commerce and plans to enter an additional eight to ten markets in 2015.
