Hussein Chalayan partners with the International Palladium Board

The International Palladium Board is teaming up with

fashion designer Hussein Chalayan for 2012, as part of its bid to make palladium ‘the contemporary precious metal of the future’.

Chalayan is the board’s latest ‘inspirational partner’ and will showcase his vision and creative of using palladium in his autumn/winter 2012 collection, which will be presented in Paris on March 2.

The collaboration is part of the Palladium Visions campaign, which will see the International Palladium Board working with some of the world’s most visionary artists, designers and jewellers throughout 2012.

Palladium is the most recent precious metal to be hallmarked and is a lustrous white metal desired by jewellery designers for its unique features – rarity, lightness and strength.
