International Fashion Academy (IFA Paris), a leading

fashion and luxury education provider with campuses in Paris and Shanghai, is pleased to announce their scholarship scheme for the 2013-2014 academic year. IFA will award over €300,000 to students through a combination of full and partial scholarships at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels.

At the postgraduate level, IFA will award a total of 10 scholarships to students to pursue their MBA Luxury Brand Management and MBA Global Fashion Media. The latter is an exciting new course that will be launched in 2013. Both courses take advantage of IFA’s unique dual campus structure, and split their academic year between Paris and Shanghai. Graduates of such courses are in high demand among industry leaders, and experiencing China and its consumers is now an asset when looking for a job back home.

The scholarships applicants should have excelled at the undergraduate level particularly in related majors such as Business Administration, Marketing, Media & Communications or Fashion Design and have three years of relevant working experience. Applicants will be evaluated through a motivation statement, an original academic paper based on brand and business analysis, an admission exam and an interview with a member of the scholarship award committee.

At the undergraduate level, IFA will award 20 scholarships to students who have recently completed their secondary education and interested to pursue a career in fashion. IFA’s Bachelor in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing require 3 years of full-time study based in Paris, and will be evaluated on academic achievement in secondary school, a motivation statement, and an interview with a member of the scholarship committee. Applicants to Fashion Marketing scholarships will be evaluated on an additional academic essay, while the Fashion Design & Technology candidates will also have to submit a portfolio of a specific given theme. Applications are to be submitted in full by April 2, 2013 at the latest for admission in the fall semester.

Qualified applicants generally count on proven academic success, understanding of fashion culture, and clear future motivation. The scholarship committee reviews all applications with an eye towards ensuring that selected students from around the globe have the talent to successfully complete the course and become a key player in the fashion or luxury industry upon graduation. IFA is pleased that its courses attract a diverse student body, keeping with its mission to be a truly international institution.
