Indie store App

A new iPhone App called Stradd is being launched for tracking down independent stores and boutiques.

The App helps users to locate key stores with a design-edge close to their location.

The App meets the wishes of those who enjoy traveling, and when visiting a new town or city like to discover the local independent stores. Stradd doesn't list large mall shops, high-street chains, mono-brand flagships or department stores. The App only features independent shops owned and run by individual proprietors with a design eye and interesting labels.

Stradd is an initiative from London trade show Margin, which aims to promote new and emerging designers. Margin started in 2002 to promote budding brands to key buyers.
