Designer footwear label Jimmy Choo has confirmed the

departure of co-creative director Simon Holloway and has named Sandra Choi as its sole creative director.

Since November 2011, the pair has worked together as co-creative directors after the departure of Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon; however, Holloway has decided to leave to ‘pursue other interests’. Choi will now be fully in charge of designing all collections including women’s and men’s shoes, bags, accessories and eyewear, as well as brand identity.

Jimmy Choo chief executive Pierre Denis told WWD: ''During his tenure, Simon has contributed greatly to Jimmy Choo, both in product and brand development, including the successful launch of both the Jimmy Choo licensee businesses in fragrance and eyewear, and the introduction of the men's collections.

''We are grateful for all that he has accomplished at Jimmy Choo and wish him every success in his future endeavours.''

Holloway’s departure is the latest change for the company, following its appointment of a new CEO last summer.
