LFW: Burberry SS13 "Corsets and Capes"

Burberry for Spring Summer 2013 showed a heady mix

of corsets, cape jackets and metallics.

The British outfitter, famously known for its rain mac, showed elaborate versions of the classic trench, from purest white through ruched pink and a multitude of metallic shades, as seen in the show's finale.

Bailey claimed he wanted to communicate "a very British glamour," and the new grown up cocktail dresses were just that. Dresses and pencil skirts with fishtail hems and mini-capes worn over dresses.

Burberry livestreamed the show in its new Regent Street flagship as well as on its Facebook and social networking pages.
