LVMH has confirmed it has finalised a 30 percent stake in Italian shoe brand Giuseppe Zanotti.

Founder Giuseppe Zanotti will remain with the company and described LVMH’s investment as “one which will allow the company to get better structured, reinforce our penetration into the international markets, and keep growing. It is a great new project which make us really proud for the future.”

The designer shoe brand, which in the past has collaborated with Kanye West, joins LVMH’s suite of designer brand, including Céline, Dior, Fendi, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton, along with a host of emerging designers.

LVMH also acquired a majority stake in British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood and a minority stake in JW Anderson in September 2013.
