ondon Fashion Week designer J.W. Anderson is

rumoured to be in talks with LVMH, the French luxury conglomerate group behind brands including Louis Vuitton, Céline, Givenchy and Bulgari.

The luxury giant has reportedly held talks with the Northern Irish-born, London-based designer J.W. Anderson about investing in his line, according to WWD.

John Anderson launched his label in 2008 after graduating from the London College of Fashion. Since then his shows have become one of the hottest tickets of London Fashion Week and last year he was enlisted by Donatella Versace to design a capsule collection for Versace’s sister line Versus.

Additionally, Anderson has also collaborated with Topshop on a high street collection featuring clothing, footwear and stationary, and is creative director of heritage brand Sunspel.

Emerging designer have been targeted by luxury groups this year, Kering, formerly PPR, acquired a majority stake in British label Christopher Kane, and last week the conglomerate group also bought a share in French designer Joseph Altuzarra.
