Marc Jacobs to be honoured

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs and his business partner Robert Duffy are both to be honoured

at Fashion Group International’s annual Night of Stars event this October.

The pair will be honoured with the FGI’s top award, the Superstar Award, for their “extraordinary body of work and a partnership that changed the course of fashion design”. It will be the first time in the award’s 30-year history that the Superstar Award has celebrated a fashion partnership.

Previous winners of the accolade include Carolina Herrera, Nicholas Ghesquiere, and Oscar de la Renta.

The award will be presented along with awards for architecture, beauty, sustainability and leadership at a gala event, which will take place in New York on October 22.
