Marchesa to show at LFW

New York ready-to-wear brand Marchesa has confirmed it will show its spring summer 2015 collection during

London Fashion Week.

The label, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, will stage its runway presentation in London for one season only.

Known for its glamorous bridal dresses and eveningwear, Marchesa was founded by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig who met at the Chelsea College of Art in 1994.

"We had been speaking with the British Fashion Council," Chapman told WWD. "We felt it was a good way to celebrate our anniversary." Craig added: "It's a one-off celebration in London, and then we are back in New York in February."
