Margherita Missoni welcomes son

Margherita Missoni and her husband Eugenio Amos have welcomed their first child,

Otto Hermann Amos. Their son, born last week, arrived 10 days after his due date and marks the first of the Misson fashion family’s fourth generation.

The designer, who has been updating her pregnancy through social media channels Instagram and Twitter, suggested on Thursday that her son was imminent after tweeting a picture of herself with a broken arm, which she said she had broken while out for a walk in the countryside.

The capture to the picture read: "#KeepOnSmiling, #BrokenWrist, #WhenTheGameGetsToughJustLaugh @eugenioamos spend the last few hours as a twosome, #waitingforottoshouldnt take much longer."
