Actress Melissa Joan Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson have teamed up to launch King of Harts, an American inspired boyswear line, aimed

at children aged 2-12 years-old.

The collection, inspired by their three sons, features functional and resilient clothing options for active boys, including jeans, T-shirts, and military inspired outerwear, all of which have been manufactured in America.

The husband and wife duo have worked alongside veteran childrenswear designer Souad Acha to develop the line, who introduced modern details with a vintage feel to create a collection that is fun and edgy to set it aside from anything else in the market.

Hart said: "With this line we not only wanted to create a really great durable product for boys but we made it a priority to keep the production of the line local to where we live. Our country isn't only represented in the clothing design but every piece is also made in America."

The clothing line will also be working with Youth Villages, a national non-profit organisation dedicated to providing the most effective local solutions to help emotionally and behaviourally troubled children and their families live successfully, by donating a portion of sale proceeds to the organisation.

Currently the boy’s winter 2104 line can be pre-ordered online with the spring/summer 2015 collection to be launched in specialty stores in March. With plans to add a girl’s line in the next few seasons as well as other product categories.
