Mexx shoe business in house

Dutch fashion brand Mexx reached an agreement to take its footwear in house. The company

will buy specific assets related to the Mexx Footwear business from its former licensing partner Mexx Shoes B.V.

With this initiative, Mexx Europe and its new management team confirm their full commitment to the Mexx brand, its retailers and key suppliers. Over the last 18 months the Mexx Footwear business has been successfully repositioned and is ready for healthy growth in the future,” said Thomas Grote, CEO.

To ensure a smooth transition to an in house operating model, key members of the former Mexx Shoes management team will join Mexx Europe BV.
