Stitch, the dedicated menswear trade show, is to relocate to the Business Design Centre

in Islington for its next event in February after four seasons at two different venues. The new central London location is set to be the new long-term venue for the tradeshow to cement its standing as the key menswear show for brands, buyers and press.

Moving to the Business Design Centre allows the organisers to increase the opening hours over two days, so it can drop the third day and reduce exhibitor costs, while maintaining visitor footfall. This decision is a direct response to the needs of buyers and exhibitors alike.

This season, Stitch is also developing its contemporary Vision area for autumn/winter 2012 by collaborating with Fats Shariff, creative producer and director, to curate it. The Vision area has been developed over the past four seasons and the platform provides an affordable stage for niche, contemporary and urban collections to sell, market and promote.

“We are very excited to develop Stitch along with the brands, buyers and industry commentators who have shown great support over the four shows. It’s clear that the UK is enjoying resurgence as an international fashion destination and we feel that Stitch has played an important role in that progression” Brian Duffy-Founder and Managing Director.

The menswear tradeshow has previously attracted over 12,000 visitors from 61 countries and its autumn/winter 2012 show will take place February 12-13 at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London.
