Land Rover has been unveiled as the headline sponsor for independent global fashion showcase,On|Off for the autumn/winter 2012 season, taking place at London and Paris Fashion Week. The partnership also includes the Land Rover Visionary Award, which was created in 2006 to promote and showcase new designer talent and support their businesses.
The AW12 Land Rover Visionary Award winner will receive financial support towards their costs and usage of the catwalk space at On|Off’s venue in Paris, Espace Commines and one-to-one mentoring sessions with all Committee members. Furthermore; February will see the launch of a £5,000 cash injection towards the winner’s business.
This season’s shortlisted designers are: Naco Paris, Cunnington and Sanderson, Thomas Wakeford and Raphaelle H’Limi, with the winner being revealed on February 16, 2012.
Previous Visionary Award winners include some of the leading UK-based fashion names: Charlie Le Mindu, Louise Amstrup, Hannah Marshall, Sinha Stanic and Peter Pilotto.
