Pal Zileri names new CEO

Italian high-end menswear brand Pal Zileri has named Paolo Roviera as its new CEO. Roviera joins

from the company from Ermenegildo Zegna, where for the past 10 years he has held managerial roles, first as Zegna Sport brand director and subsequently as head of EMEA.

Roviera will be responsible for consolidating the brand’s position in the Italian and international markets, with particular focus on the domestic market, the US and Russia. His main priority will be to leverage the excellence of the label’s “Made in Italy” ethos.

To help with the relaunch of the brand, Stefano Gaudioso, previously at Ermenegildo Zegna and Corneliani, has been appointed general merchandising manager. He has extensive experience in merchandising high-end, luxury menswear.

These two appointments mark the first hirings since the company was bought by the Qatari investment fund Mayhoola earlier this year.
