Plus-size blogger signs swimwear deal

Plus-size style blogger GabiFresh has signed a three-year licensing deal with swimwear company Swimsuitsforall, to

create her own signature line for its Swim Sexy range.

The deal marks the first long-term licensing contract between a plus-size personality and a women's swimwear company. It follows two successful collaborations with the style blogger, in 2013, they collaborated on the 'GabiFresh x swimsuitsforall' capsule collection featuring plus-size bikinis and, in 2014, she was recruited again to design a bikini for the Swim Sexy summer collection.

Commenting on the deal, GabiFresh said: "After our last two successful collaborations, I am beyond excited to be working with swimsuitsforall again designing for Swim Sexy. My new swimwear line will be playful, cutting-edge and, above all, sexy. I want curvy women to know that they can look just as fashionable as anyone else in a swimsuit."

The 'GabiFresh for Swim Sexy' will debut January 2015, with a summer collection being released later in the year, and will draw upon her own signature “fun, funky and fresh sense of style”. The line will include one pieces and bikinis all priced under 100 US dollars, with sizing ranging from US 12 - 24 in D/DD cups as well as E/F cups for sizes US 18 - 24.

Moshe Laniado, CEO and president of swimsuitsforall, added: "Gabi is such an iconic figure when it comes to swimwear and body acceptance. We want to further support her message and bring what she's got to even more women out there."
