Students who are a fan of Italian fashion are in for

a treat next week, as designer Roberto Cavalli will be revisiting his role as guest speaker at the Oxford Union, part of the University's debating association, on the 20th of November.

He has been invited to speak about his previous experiences in the fashion industry and share his knowledge with the students. “It is truly an honour, it's a wonderful opportunity to speak with young generations. I want to share my persona, my life and my experiences with them,” says Cavalli, who looks forward to his second visit to the University.

“I love fashion so much. Fashion is a form of art, the Renaissance art, the cultural traditions of my hometown Florence and my passion for photography have greatly impacted on my will to portray my inspirations though clothes,” he adds, wanting to convey his hopes and optimism to the younger generations to come and inspire them to take risks to help achieve their life goals and dreams.

Cavalli joins the likes of Calvin Klein and Vivienne Westwood in his role as guest speaker and concludes, “It is an honor to once again speak at this prestigious university.”
