London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic has followed the opening of her debut flagship
with the news that her label is to rebrand to support its global expansion plans.
Backed by a new minority investor, Eiesha Bharti Pasricha, the designer label will be rebranded as ‘Roksanda’, as it looks to conveying a “sophisticated simplicity that reflects the designer’s vision and strategy for future global growth”.
It is hoped that the rebrand and long-term investment will assist in the brand’s development and expansion plans globally, with the designer label looking to open more standalone stores to join its Mount Street flagship.
The 2,500 square foot boutique, situated in a Grade 2 listed Edwardian building, was designed in partnership with British architect David Adjaye and offers a striking retail space featuring the labels full collections including a VIP area downstairs for bridal and bespoke dresses.
Commenting on the debut store, Ilincic said: “Opening our first store is a huge milestone for me. The store will be the home for the brand in more ways than one, and will be the ideal space for my vision for the label to be fully realised.”
