London-based menswear trade show Stitch will be showcasing

a curated selection of UK menswear brands during New York Fashion Week.

Stitch, which has been showcasing men’s fashion for six seasons, has selected Pretty Green, Firetrap, Bolongaro Trevor and Richard Smith Pret a Porter, a line of bespoke garments using handmade cloth from leading British mills, as its “Best of British” brands, which it claims shows a cross selection of what the UK has to offer.

The catwalk show will take place on September 12 as part of Nolcha Fashion Week, a platform that promotes emerging independent fashion designers, and aims to boost British menswear.

Commenting on the initiative, Brian Duffy, founder of Stitch Menswear, said: "With 2012 being the year of everything British, we are excited by the opportunity to deliver a cross section of British menswear and to celebrate this with Nolcha, our New York partners."
