Modeling can be very lucrative and supermodel Gisele Bundchen may soon find herself

playing in the billionaire's league, according to Forbes.

The Brazilian model is thought to have earned over £150 million for her modelling work over the past decade and new business ventures could soon bring her up to the billion mark, reports Vogue.

One of her first collaborations with Brazilian flip-flop label Ipanema, makes an estimated turnover of £152 million, with over 250 million pairs sold in 2010. Brazil is one of the world's fastest growing economies and with its womenswear market rising 25 per cent each year, Gisele's new lingerie line for Hope could also score big, with a predicted earning of £11.6 million. She further has a stake in the company.

Her beauty line, Sejaa Pure Skincare, is also rumoured to be for sale - for which Bundchen owns the company. The model also makes money from her C&A fashion label, for which she is creative director.

If you take into account Gisele's expanding property portfolio, she owns land and a hotel in Brazil, a villa in Costa Rica, a house in Brentwood, California, and is currently building a home in Santa Monica. Not bad for a pretty girl who came from a small town in South America.
