In celebration of The Queen’s Coronation, a festival is to be staged in the

Gardens of Buckingham Palace in July, which will include a catwalk show dedicated to Royal Warrant Holders.

Hosted by the Royal Warrant Holders Association, the festival will bring together over 200 companies who hold Royal Warrants of Appointment, including Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes, Dege & Skinner and London Fashion Week label Daks.

The four-day festival marks 60 years since The Queen’s coronation and will allow members of the public to explore the gardens, learn more about the Royal Warrants, as interact with 60 years of design and technology in four areas - Homes & Gardens, Food & Drink, Design & Technology and Styles, Pursuits & Pastimes.

The catwalk, which is part of the Style, Pursuits & Pastimes area, will showcase brands and products favoured by the Royal Family, with the aim to inspire. The daily showcase, which will hold 400 guests, will also feature beauty and styling advice from leading experts, which have yet to be announced.

Exhibitors in the section will include some of the oldest Royal Warrant holders, such as Henry Poole & Co., who were awarded a Royal Warrant by HM Queen Victoria in 1869 as court tailors. They will be showcasing their handmade bespoke suits, entirely cut and made on their premises at 15/16 Savile Row.

Other brands taking part include sock manufacturer Corgi, who will be revealing a new line commissioned by the Prince for the celebration, Hunter Wellies, Austin Reed, and jeweller Fiona Rae.

The festival takes place from July 11-14, 2013, with ticket prices ranging from 30 Pounds for a day pass to 90 Pounds for an evening gala.
