Thomas Pink, the British shirt maker, has confirmed the appointment of Andrew

Merriman as its new chief financial officer.

Merriman, who joined the company last month, previously served as chief operating officer at Gieves and Hawkes, until last May when he left after the brand was acquired by Hong Kong-based Trinity Holdings.

In his new role, Merriman has been tasked with boosting the shirt maker’s international presence, as well as assist the chief executive, Jonathan Heilbron, in increasing the size of the retailer.

Thomas Pink, which is owned by French-based luxury goods group LVMH, has flagship stores in London’s Jermyn Street, Madison Avenue, New York and Rue Francois Premier, Paris. In total the retailer has more than 80 stores worldwide including in the US, France, Mexico, Dubai, Hong Kong, Australia, China, South Africa, India and in the UK.
