Topshop to go down under

Sir Philip Green is set to conquer his third continent with plans to take Topshop into Australia.

The fashion billionaire has taken charge of the expansion and is in talks with a retail landlord to secure a store in central Sydney which could lead to a roll out across the country.

Sir Philip opened Topshop's first overseas store on Broadway, New York, in 2009 with model Kate Moss, to much fanfare. In the USA there are plans to open retail outlets in key cities, including Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles.
