Uniqlo to bring back +J line

Although Jil Sander may have recently left her eponymous fashion house, the famed German designer's minimalist

designs may soon be available in store under another apparel label: Uniqlo.

The Japanese fashion label revealed on Wednesday that it will introduce a re-launched special collection featuring "the greatest designs" from the +J collection. Sander first began collaborating with the fashion retailer over five seasons, from fall-winter 2009.

Uniqlo, owed by parent company Fast Retailing, stated that it will reissue "carefully selected garments," such as the wool sweaters and button-down shirts from this month onwards in 15 different markets where it has main stores located.

A company spokesman revealed to WWD that Sander herself was not involved in the revival of + J and it remains unclear if Uniqlo will continue the re-launch after the fall-winter 2014 season.
