Zoë Jordan, recipient of the British Fashion Council’s Contemporary Award, has confirmed that for Spring/Summer 2015 she
will be showcasing her latest collection during New York Fashion Week.
"London and the British Fashion Council have given me the confidence and support to get into my stride professionally," Jordan explained to Vogue. “I think the utilitarian, straight-forward approach to my collections has good synergy with the American audience."
Jordan added: "It feels like the perfect challenge and a good time to take the next steps with the brand. I don't know many meaningful, successful brands without a presence in the US, so New York is the first stepping stone to achieving that ambition."
Jordan who studied architecture launched her fashion line in spring/summer 2012 at London Fashion Week and since then she has shortlisted for numerous accolades including the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund and best emerging British luxury brand at the Walpole Awards in 2012.
