PVH Corp.-owned Calvin Klein Inc. is entering a licensing deal with footwear company Marc Fisher Ltd. for the production and distribution of Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jean's men's and women's footwear offerings in the U.S. and Canada. In addition to this licensing agreement, Calvin Klein Inc. will be bringing its European and Asian footwear offerings in-house.

Currency, the footwear licensing agreement for the production of Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, and CK Calvin Klein are held by Jimlar Corp., but the agreement expires at the end of 2020. Beginning in 2021 production will be brought in-house.

Marc Fisher's first collection for Calvin Klein will be debuted at the virtual August Fashion Footwear Association event. The first collection will arrive in stores for spring 2021. The offerings will range from formal to casual at a price point from 59 dollars to 229 dollars.

Marc Fisher is no stranger to working with PVH. Corp. The company also counts PVH Corp.-owned Tommy Hilfiger as one of the brands they work with.

Ever since the departure of Raf Simons as creative director of the brand, Calvin Klein has been working on expanding other offerings to grow their business. Jeans and underwear became their main focus again for a while, and now they are turning to footwear to bolster revenue and profits. Like many other fashion brands, they are thinking long term regarding growth strategy as the economic state that coronavirus left the world in will take a while to recover from.
