Fashion data company Fitcode newly partnered with Hudson Jeans in order to create a more personalized, unique shopping experience for customers. The collaboration was announced this week on October 5 in a way to receive data and also enhance a new form of buying.

The two brands came together to provide a curated way to shop for women’s denim through Hudson Jean’s website. Shoppers can now take a Fitcode fit quiz that will help them decipher which kind of fit and style is best for them. The website lets customers filter by brand, style, wash, fade, inseam and price in order to find the perfect fit. The quiz is also embedded in hudsonjeans.com so that customers won’t have to leave the site and interrupt their shopping experience. This will allow women to shop based on fit rather than focusing on their size. Without using measurements, the website allows shoppers to find their desired jeans.

The partnership came from a shared interest in accommodating customers. For shoppers, Fitcode helps customers feel more confident and satisfied with their purchases through data. “Partnering with Hudson [Jeans] just makes sense,” Rian Buckley, Fitcode co-founder and chief executive officer said in a statement. “Our users love Hudson’s free-spirited, iconic styles, and we’re excited to help enhance the buying experience.”

Through this new partnership, Fitcode can also relay the data back to retailers in order to help the fashion business. “Fitcode is providing denim brands and retailers with actionable data insights to help drive more sales and increase inventory efficiency,” Loretta Soffe, former EVP of women’s apparel at Nordstrom, said in a statement. This in turn helps retailers and brands increase customer loyalty and overall sales. Because customers are doing more research before purchasing, it also decreases the amount of returns.

This isn’t the first time Fitcode has partnered with a jean brand in order to help drive sales. Recently, the data company also partnered with JAG Jeans, which is known for high-quality contemporary denim. Other supported brands include Paige, 7 For All Mankind, Levi’s, J Brand, Citizens of HUmanity, Frame Denim, NYDJ, and Kut from the Kloth. All of these brands are available to shop through Fitcode’s website as well.
