FTC approves renoa, the first new apparel fiber category in nearly 25 years

The US Federal Trade Commission has approved renoa, a fiber regenerated from keratin-rich textile waste, as its own apparel fiber classification. This is the first new category the agency has recognised since it approved PLA in 2002. Next-generation fiber producer Everbloom announced the decision on Tuesday.
