Women’s fitness apparel brand Gracedbygrit has been acquired by sportswear e-tailer Hylete, both companies informed in a statement.

“We were looking for a partner that has a powerful vision and creates exceptional, innovative product”, said Kate Nowlan, co-founder of Gracedbygrit, who is joining Hylete as VP of Brand Experience. “Gracedbygrit has an incredibly loyal and engaged community of women. We are ecstatic to bring a strong female narrative to the Hylete brand”.

Hylete, founded just one year earlier than Gracedbygrit, forecasts 13 million dollars in sales in 2018. Its CEO and co-founder, Ron Wilson, stated that Gracedbygrit represents “the true spirit of what we want our female line to embody”.

Founded in 2013 in Southern California, Gracedbygrit designs, manufactures and retails women’s workout clothing. The company has generated over 3.5 million US dollars in revenues so far.
