Lojas Renner's apparel segment drives 10.2 percent revenue growth

Brazilian retail group Lojas Renner reported a consolidated net income of 1.5 billion reais for the full year ended December 31, 2025, representing a 22 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Highlights of full year results

Retail net revenue rose by 9.2 percent year-over-year, supported by same-store sales growth of 8.1 percent. The group’s apparel segment was a primary driver of this momentum, with net revenue increasing 10.2 percent and same-store-sales growing 8.9 percent. Annual gross margin from retail operations expanded by 0.7 percentage points to 56.1 percent, marking the highest level achieved by the company in six years.

Lojas Renner chief executive officer, Fabio Faccio, noted that the performance reflected meaningful market share gains. “This performance is the result of a disciplined growth strategy focused on expansion into new cities, increased digital penetration, and continued productivity gains,” Faccio stated.

The company opened 34 new stores during the year.

Digital integration and outlook

The group’s digital operations continued to scale, with gross merchandise volume (GMV) increasing 12.3 percent over the year. Digital sales now represent 15.5 percent of total revenue. Faccio highlighted that investments in logistics and technology have reduced delivery times and improved the availability of new inventory online, strengthening the company's omnichannel model.

Looking ahead to 2026, Lojas Renner has proposed a capital budget of 1.05 billion reais. The group plans to open between 50 and 60 new stores, including 22 to 30 stores under the Renner brand; 23 to 25 Youcom stores; and approximately five Camicado stores.

The company also launched a new share repurchase program for up to 75 million shares, signaling confidence in its long-term growth trajectory. While Faccio acknowledged that the macroeconomic environment in 2026 presents challenges, he maintained that the group is well positioned to meet its annual retail net revenue growth targets of 9 percent to 13 percent for the 2026–2030 cycle.
