N4XT Experiences partners with SAP to drive new digital & retail infrastructure for NYFW
N4XT Experiences, one of the organisations behind New York Fashion Week (NYFW), has signed a new multi-season partnership with SAP to enhance the digital, retail, and experiential infrastructure of NYFW and N4XT’s recently launched NYFW Collections platform.
Under the agreement, SAP will serve as N4XT’s official technology and co-innovation partner. Together, the two companies will develop and implement tools designed to improve how designers, editors, buyers, and attendees connect during NYFW and throughout the year.
An experiential live events company, N4XT Experiences specializes in creative direction, production, brand strategy, and fashion programming. It develops and operates major fashion platforms, including NYFW Collections and L.A. Fashion Week, which it acquired in 2022.
The NYFW Collections, which launched last September, sees the addition of several designers to the platform this month, including Prabal Gurung and Area. Returning designers include Kallmeyer, Sergio Hudson, Altuzarra, Fforme, Public School, Zankov, and Aknvas.
N4XT and SAP outline a multi-season partnership for tech-forward NYFW
Starting from this February onwards, N4XT Experiences will use its partnership with SAP to roll out a suite of enterprise-level solutions designed to deliver practical benefits for designers. These capabilities span business software, omnichannel commerce, in-store technology, AI-driven tools, and physical retail activations. Together, they are intended to support designers, brands, and partners while strengthening the broader NYFW ecosystem.
N4XT ss provides the locations, infrastructure, and operational support designers need to present their collections during fashion week and this season. This season, the company will introduce a new lineup of fully contracted venues across New York City, including the New York Public Library and a new multi-designer venue at Storied (formerly Chelsea Factory). The latter expands both capacity and technical capabilities for designers, showing at the site.
“This partnership with SAP marks a long-term commitment to building the infrastructure and solutions for the fashion industry needs to grow sustainably,” said Imad Izemrane, co-founder and CEO of N4XT Experiences, in a statement. “At N4XT, our focus is on removing the operational and logistical barriers that hold designers back, while SAP brings advanced technology to help scale those systems over time. What we are launching this February is the foundation for a strong future, one that supports creativity and innovation and expands season over season.”
In addition, over the coming seasons, N4XT and SAP will also develop .FW, a digital platform designed to bring NYFW Collections designers, partners, and audiences together in a single environment. The platform will be rolled out in phases, with the aim of supporting designer visibility, audience engagement, and commerce for independent designers of all sizes.
Planned features include curated access to designers and collections, tools to help users navigate and schedule Fashion Week activities, and functionality that links in-person retail activations with digital experiences throughout the NYFW calendar.
Altuzarra will act as an early design partner, testing selected features. Additional designers and capabilities will be added gradually as the platform expands. “Strong digital infrastructure is what allows creativity to scale responsibly,” said Joseph Altuzarra in a statement. “Partnering with N4XT x SAP gives Altuzarra a powerful foundation for growth, while preserving the integrity, craft, and point of view that define the brand.”
Later this month, N4XT will also launch the Retail Innovation Lab in partnership with NYFW Collections and SAP. Co-created with Public School co-founders Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the lab will offer a self-guided, immersive retail experience highlighting SAP’s AI-powered retail technologies.
Developed alongside Public School, the experience will support the brand’s relaunch during NYFW and present a new, innovation-led model for retail, positioning NYFW as a platform for commerce. The experience will run from February 12 to 14 at Highline Nine in West Chelsea and will be open to the public during select hours, with private preview access for press and industry.
“Our return to New York Fashion Week is rooted in building something lasting,” said Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, co-founders of Public School. “The Retail Innovation Lab by NYFW Collections and SAP gives us access to real infrastructure — tools that connect creativity, retail, and technology in a way that’s actionable, not theoretical.”
Additional details on future activations, programs, and platform developments will be shared via a dedicated landing page as the partnership continues to roll out.
