Nordstrom hosts company-wide hiring day

Nordstrom is looking for 24,000 seasonal employees for its stores, call centers, distribution and fulfillment centers across the United States and Canada. To find the right candidates, the fashion retailer is hosting a company-wide hiring day in all of its stores today.
“The holiday season is one of our busiest times of year and we need to be sure we have the right teams in place to be able to offer our customers the service and experience they’re looking for”, said Christine Deputy, Nordstrom’s Chief Human Resources Officer, in a statement.
The company is offering 20,300 positions at its 122 Nordstrom stores and 242 Nordstrom Rack stores in the US and Canada; 900 positions at its call center; and 2800 positions at distribution and fulfillment centers in several locations.
